Are the cabinets delivered fully assembled?
Yes, all evoline® heavy duty cabinets are fully manufactured and ready for use apart from the following small task. You need to tilt the floor cabinets slightly backwards, with assistance, and screw in the feet. The minimum height of the tall cupboard is 2100mm with the feet attached. There is about 2cm adjustment in the feet. If you have a garage with a low ceiling then you can leave the feet off and unscrew their corner brackets resulting in a cabinet of 2000mm height.
Can the evoline® cabinet sets be reconfigured?
The units shown in the sets are supplied individually so can be positioned in any way you wish. Individual cabinets can be purchased in the evoline® range to complement the sets. Please speak to us to see what opportunities might be available to achieve your perfect cabinet set-up in the most cost-effective manner.
Of what materials are the cabinets manufactured?
Steel, with a heavy duty industrial powder paint coating to protect them from garage and industrial environments. The evoline® cabinets are manufactured using a typical gauge of steel for industrial cabinets. This allows them to be heavily loaded and provide many years of use in a residential application.
Are alternative worktops available?
At present, two tops are available, lino-clad and multi-layered beech. They are both very hard-wearing and great looking. The lino-clad worktop has an attractive marbled finish and hides stains and marks exceptionally well. It is banded all around the edge with light grey PVC. The colour of the lino-clad worktop complements the cabinets perfectly. The multi-layered beech worktop would benefit from a coating of Danish oil for best appearance and longevity.
How are the cabinets delivered?
They will be delivered by pallet carrier using a rigid HGV having a rear tail lift and "pump truck". Pallet carriers provide a "kerbside" delivery service. Whilst some drivers will be more obliging if access to your garage is on the level and straightforward with a dropped kerb, delivery into the garage cannot be guaranteed.
To move the cabinets off the pallets you will need able assistance and preferably a strong trolley or sack truck. Lock the doors and drawers to stop them from opening whilst the units are being moved. Remove the keys to save them getting damaged. PLEASE NOTE - you will find that the tall cupboards are fixed to the pallet using two to four long self-tapping screws through the floor. These will need removing using a Phillips screwdriver, or better still a drill fitted with a Phillips driver bit.
The order confirmation email will provide further information.
What shelves are provided in the cupboards?
The tall cupboard comes with three shelves. The low cupboard comes with a single shelf. The wall cupboard has no shelves, it is 500mm high internally. A shelf can be purchased to suit the wall cupboards if required. Where shelves are fitted, you can adjust the height of each shelf in small increments. Extra shelves can be purchased for all cupboards.
Are the products free-standing?
evoline® wall cupboards and back panels need to be fitted to the garage or workshop walls conventionally using suitable fixings and wall plugs (where required). Our manufacturer does not supply the fixings due to the wide range of wall materials used in construction. Where you have a stud wall then it is strongly recommended that you fix the products deeply into the stud behind using suitable wood screws.
What accessories are available?
You can specify a hanging rail for the tall cupboard, and space shelves out accordingly. The base of the drawer cabinet is hard-wearing and corrosion-resistant galvanised steel for protection, but you can also specify inlay mats to save the contents from sliding about. In addition drawer divider sets are available. A range of tool hooks is available for the perforated back panels.
